Planter p72

This vintage industrial planter is created from a reclaimed galvanized metal hopper which was used as a lorry tyre puncture test tank, mounted on a distinctive red-painted steel frame with splayed legs and cross-bracing. The deep rectangular vessel features a naturally weathered patina, showcasing aged galvanised steel with areas of oxidation, faded paint, and authentic wear that highlight its industrial heritage. Integrated metal handles at each end enhance its original utilitarian character.

The angular steel stand gives the piece a striking architectural presence while providing excellent stability and elevating the planter to an ideal display height. The contrast between the aged galvanised hopper and the weathered red frame creates a bold, rustic aesthetic that works beautifully in both traditional and contemporary outdoor spaces.

Planting details: Please note that each planter is available with or without plants and soil. They are freshly planted just before delivery or collection, so they may arrive at different stages of growth. but all come fully lined and fitted with drainage holes for optimal performance.
